I HOONED back from Warwick to catch the daylight. Got there at 2pm to find 25mph winds - perfect! Rigged up the 8m then the most almighty squall came through... the kind of sit-on-your-kite-and hang-on kind. It never really died down after that, hovering around the 35 mark. I just stood about on the beach getting chilly till everyone just packed up as it was getting dark. Shoulda gone windsurfing instead. Grr.
